Authorities Investigate Suspicious Death After Body Found in Roadway in Wyandot County
Authorities in Wyandot County are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death that occurred early this past Wednesday morning in Sycamore Township.
According to a release from Sheriff Todd Frey, the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit and the METRICH Enforcement Unit were dispatched to an area on County Highway 9 after receiving a 9-1-1 call from someone who reported that they had just hit someone that was lying in the middle of the road.
The body of the male was found and was pronounced dead by the Wyandot County Coroner’s Office and was transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
