
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the area.
It is in effect until 8PM Wednesday for heat index values up to 105.
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat related illness, so you are encouraged to take precautionary actions to safe-guard your well being.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside.
Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing.
Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening.
Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
You should also make sure outside animals have plenty of shade and water.
