Local Heroes Compete to Save Lives in 2025 Battle of the Badges Blood Drive
Local first responders rolled up their sleeves last week and participated in the 2025 Battle of the Badges hosted by the American Red Cross.
According to the Red Cross, “Battle of the Badges builds camaraderie among local first responders through a friendly competition to see who can recruit the most blood donors. Supporting the Red Cross blood supply is another great way to touch lives in the communities you serve every day.“
17 units were collected at the event.
There were 6 new donors who participated.
2 donors were from Fire, 3 from EMS and for the win, 7 were from Police and Sheriff.
