The Hardin County Council on Aging recognized Jerri Cowen on her recent retirement after 30 years with the agency.

She served as the trip coordinator.

Before she was hired, she volunteered doing trips, and she stated that she has enjoyed every minute at the Council on Aging and has made many wonderful memories.

Her favorite places she has traveled to are Mount Rushmore and Hawaii.

She is looking forward to relaxing during retirement and traveling with her sister.

Cowen has been working with new trip coordinator Christa Rarey, and they have been working hard on planning 2026 excursions.
