Two Injured in Tuesday Afternoon Crash

Two Marion residents were injured in a crash that occurred at around 4:20 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 67 and County 75 west of Kenton.

According to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office report, 61-year-old Terry Vanhoose, of McGuffey, drove onto 67 from a stop sign on 75, and his vehicle was struck by a westbound car being operated by 36-year-old Ryan Beltz.

Beltz and a passenger in his car, 36-year-old Tiffany Beltz, were both transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Vanhoose was not injured.

He was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
