The Hardin County Child Support Enforcement Agency, in cooperation with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, is having warrant amnesty week from August 18 through the 21.
The hours on Monday August 18 are 8:30 to 10:30am, Tuesday the 18th from 2 to 4pm and Wednesday the 20th 8:30 to 10:30am all in the Training Conference Room at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday August 21 from 9am to 3pm, it will be on the Third Floor at the Hardin County Courthouse.
If you cannot make those times, they can set other times by appointment.
Anyone with an active warrant for failing to serve a jail sentence or failing to appear for a court hearing, should attend one of these meetings.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office has agreed that they will not be checking for active warrants unless the participants cause a problem.
If you are unsure if there is a child support warrant, call the legal department at 567-295-6742 or 419-674-2352.
