175th Allen County Fair to Kick Off Tomorrow

The 175th Allen County Fair kicks off tomorrow, August 15th.

Gates will open at 7:00am tomorrow morning and guests can enter with a paid admission. The fair will officially open at 4:00pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony and rides will operate from 5:00pm until 11:00pm on the first night.

On Saturday and Sunday, rides are open on the Midway (weather permitting) from 12 pm – 11 pm.

On Monday, August 18th, rides are open on the Midway from 2 pm – 10 pm.

On Tuesday, August 19th, rides are open on the Midway from 3 pm – 10 pm.

On Wednesday, August 20th and Thursday, August 21st, rides are open on the Midway from 5 pm – 10 pm.

On Friday, August 22nd, rides are open on the Midway from 5 pm – 11 pm.

On the last day of the fair, Saturday, August 23rd, rides are open on the Midway from 12 pm – 11 pm.

There are a variety of exciting events taking place at the 2025 Allen County Fair.

Youth DayMonday, August 18, 2025
Free Youth Fishing Derby (ages 15 and under) at 9 a.m. (Roschman Park pond), Jungle Island Petting Zoo 12 p.m.–9 p.m., $20 ride wristband 2–10 p.m. (weather permitting), plus Youth Day activities (ages 12 and under) featuring games and a bicycle prize at 2 p.m. in the Plaza.

Senior Citizen’s DayTuesday, August 19, 2025
Free admission for seniors aged 60+ until 6 p.m.; Golden Age Day Parties at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Gospel Tent with music, snacks, and beverages.

Taste of the FairThursday, August 21, 2025
From 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., enjoy a food-centric experience featuring local vendors, food trucks, and fair food booths.

Veteran’s DayFriday, August 22, 2025
Free admission for veterans until 6 p.m.; includes a veteran’s program and lunch at 12 p.m. in the picnic tent at Roschman Park, just behind the Gospel Tent.
