USV Volleyball Drops 3-Sets to Falcons
The USV varsity volleyball team lost to Riverdale in three sets (14-25, 15-25, 21-25).
Coach Grener shared, “First game jitters I think got the best of us. Riverdale is a good hitting team and I think we just dug ourselves too deep in a hole and couldn’t come out of it. The third set was more how we play definitely.”
Stat leaders for USV:
- Raegan Castle – 9 kills, 10 digs
- Audrey Lawrence – 2 aces, 27 assists
- Ivie Gonzalez – 8 digs, 2 aces
- Araya Boyd – 10 digs
The JV team also dropped their match, 16-25, 13-25.
