
The Upper Scioto Valley Cross-Country teams opened their season Tuesday afternoon at the Upper Sandusky Icebreaker following a 45-minute rain delay.
For the boys, Noah McCoy led the Rams with a 52nd-place finish in 20:30. He was followed by Quinn Dyer (21:29), Braiden Zapp (21:43), Ben Tidd (22:56), Miles Joseph (25:14), and Jase Prater (31:46). Payton Pippin also competed for USV.
On the girls’ side, Lauren Thompson ran a 28:29 in the humid conditions, while Ella Blair finished in 32:06. Lilly McCoy also ran for the Lady Rams.
The Rams return to action Saturday at Seneca East with the girls racing at 8:30 a.m. and the boys at 9:30 a.m.
