Riverdale Girls Soccer Honored Elida Student Athlete’s Memory
The Elida community was struck by a tragedy on Friday, August 15th, when Bulldog student-athlete Kenny Schultheis Jr. passed away. Schultheis was a member of Elida’s football, wrestling, and basketball teams.
In a touching act of support, Riverdale presented each member of the Elida Girls Soccer team with flowers and held a moment of silence for Schultheis during their matchup. Riverdale Girls Soccer, the Falcons Athletic Department, and Riverdale Local Schools also made a donation, from a bake sale they held, to Kenny’s family.
