The Hardin County Farm Bureau recently donated the 2025 American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture, Book of the Year- “The Soil in Jackie’s Garden” to the six Hardin County Libraries.

The Hardin County Board knows the importance of agricultural literacy here in our home community and is pleased to share this great story for all young library patrons to enjoy.

Even though agriculture is Hardin County’s number one industry, many young citizens do not understand how the food they enjoy ends up on their plate.  This small donation helps to bridge that learning and educational gap.
