Kenton Girls Tennis Falls to Van Wert
Kenton fell short by a score of 2 to 3 against Van Wert. Katie Lowe and Diana Nease won a three-set thriller over Allison Spieles and Ixchell Castillo at second doubles, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3. Presley Wilson won again at second singles over Bristol Wollet 6-2, 6-2. The first doubles team of Mia Vermillion and Katelyn Stevenson played well against Ella Kimmel and Hannah Eberle before dropping the match 6-7 (3-7), 2-6. McKenna Stanforth fell at third singles to Madilynn Thompson 3-6, 2-6. Amanda Van Horn also fell at first singles to Lauren Gearhart 0-6, 0-6. Kenton is home on 9/16 for a match against Marion River Valley at 4:30 pm.
