COLUMBUS — The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) will host its annual Medical & Health Symposium (MHS) beginning tomorrow, Sep. 17 and running through Sep. 19. The symposium will bring together medical and legal professionals from across the country for three days of expert-led education and discussion.
Held virtually, MHS offers free continuing education for more than 20 professional license types including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, attorneys, case managers, and physical therapists.
“This event is a cornerstone of our commitment to advancing occupational health in Ohio,” said BWC Administrator/CEO Stephanie McCloud. “We’re proud to offer a platform where professionals can learn, connect, and earn valuable continuing education – all to the benefit of Ohio’s injured workers.”
MHS brings together thousands of medical and legal professionals to share new perspectives and lead important discussions about medical and vocational issues impacting the workers’ compensation industry and Ohio’s workers. This year’s event focuses on navigating occupational health challenges in a changing environment.
In addition to three days of educational sessions, the event will also host an exhibitor hall with vendors showcasing their latest products.
For more information, including speakers and continuing education information, visit the MHS website. If you have questions, please call the provider contact center at 1-800-477-2292 or email medsymposium@bwc.ohio.gov.
