
Four people were arrested after a search warrant was served at a residence located at 112 West Sixth Street in Lima Wednesday.
According to a release from the Lima Police Department, once at the residence, officers discovered a dog fighting operation.
This investigation revealed the following four people were involved: Ronell Rogers (33), Jermaine Jones (35), Cameron Bailey (30), and LaMontae Jackson (29).
They were arrested and charged with Dog Fighting and Animal Cruelty.
Officers also recovered several pieces of evidence related to dog fighting, a small amount of suspected narcotics, and one handgun.
Seven dogs were rescued.
The Lima Police Department Officers were also assisted by the Allen County Dog Warden.
This investigation is ongoing.
