The Kenton City Schools Music Department made a strong showing this weekend at the Ada Music Feast.
Four groups — Top Twenty, Dimensions, A-Company, and Stage Corps — represented Kenton, with 104 students taking the stage.
Dimensions earned praise for an outstanding debut performance, and Briar Davis was named Best Performer.
Stage Corps won Best Crew, while Layelle Coulson took home Best Performer honors.
Top Twenty captured Class B and advanced to the evening finals, ultimately finishing as Second Runner-Up — their best placement ever at the Ada competition.
Directors expressed excitement for the season ahead. This was also the group’s final competition departing from the current Kenton Middle School location, marking the end of an era for the program.
Fans can rewatch performances by visiting Ada Bulldogs on Facebook for the event livestream.
