
The 2025 Christmas Holiday season kicks off this evening in Kenton.
In preparation for all the activities, there will be no parking permitted around the square starting at 3 this afternoon.
Park and Watch Viewing options will be available on a first come, first serve basis on Columbus Street between the Mary Lou Johnson – Hardin County District Library and Subway and on North Detroit Street between Columbus and Carrol Streets.
Food trucks will open at 5:00pm, and the Cynergy Dance Academy performance begins at 5:20pm, followed by the Main Attraction performance at 5:30pm.
A welcome from Kenton Historic Courthouse District Coordinator Jennifer Ramge and unveiling of Window Wonderland takes place at 6:05pm, and that will be followed by a welcome from Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb.
Kenton Lions Club: Ohio’s Biggest Small Town Christmas Parade steps off at the Kenton Middle School, but before arriving to downtown, the Hardin County Commissioners will greet the crowd at 6:20pm, and they will then preside over the lighting of the Hardin County Courthouse at 6:25pm.
The parade arrives to downtown at 6:30pm.
The festivities and food continue after the parade until 9:00 tonight at the Columbus Street Activity Zone.
