A scheduled waterline improvement project is underway at Clover Lane and Lark Lane in Kenton.
According to information from the city, Beaverdam Contracting was awarded the project and officially broke ground this past Monday.
Lark Lane will remain open, and Clover Lane will be limited to local traffic only for the remainder of construction.
This project will upgrade the existing waterline from 4-inch to 8-inch, resulting in improved water pressure for residents and enhanced fire protection with the installation of new fire hydrants along Clover Lane.
Motorists should use caution when traveling in this area, as crews will be actively working.
If possible, consider avoiding the area during construction.
The project is expected to be completed by February.
