The City of Lima, in collaboration with the Allen County Museum, the America 250-Ohio Commission, and a coalition of community partners, is launching the third trail in the Lima Local History Hunt: the Industry and Innovation Trail. This trail highlights the businesses that helped build Lima and celebrates the industries shaping its future.
The trail will officially open on January 17, 2026, during the Allen County Museum’s Hot Cocoa History Day from 1 to 5 PM. The free, family-friendly event will include static electricity experiments, historical lessons, and hot chocolate, while showcasing the Allen County Museum and Historical Society’s role in providing historical resources for Lima’s America 250 celebration.
