
The Kenton Wildcats hosted Marion-Harding for boys and girls bowling on Thursday.
The boys’ team took down the Prexies 2619-1784, with the Wildcats posting two near-record individual games of 1042 and 1060. Four bowlers hit 400+ series, helping set a school record series of 2102. Kenton built a 726-pin lead heading into the baker games, then added over 100 more pins in just three bakers to seal the win. Hudson Latimore led with a 477 series (236-241) and the high game, followed by Eban Albert’s 466 (232-234). Trevor Roesner rolled a 404 (211-193), Cale Harshfield had a 402 (193-209), and Seth Spencer chipped in with a 353 (170-183).
On the girls’ side, the Wildcats beat the Prexies 2074-1547. They led 755-609 after the first individual games, then extended the gap to 459 pins after the second, 880-567, behind Karyn Hopkins’ 234 and Brayla Butler’s 216. In the three baker games, Kenton added another 68 pins to their lead. Hopkins finished with a 414 series (180-234) and the high game, while Butler posted a 389 (173-216). Jazalyn Worthington scored 381 (189-192), Shyan Cherry had 240 (117-123), and Kayla Lambert added 211 (96-115).
The Wildcats travel to Wyandot Lanes on Monday to take on Upper Sandusky at 4:00 pm.
