
A bicyclist was injured Saturday morning following a crash at the intersection of Cherry Lane and Tiffin Avenue in Hancock County.
According to the Findlay Police Department, the accident occurred at approximately 10:32 a.m. on February 14. Brad Ehrnschwender, 68, of Findlay, was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound on Cherry Lane and was turning right to head westbound onto Tiffin Avenue.
Police say Candace Gossard, 60, of Findlay, was riding a bicycle eastbound on the north sidewalk of Tiffin Avenue and entered the crosswalk at the intersection. As Ehrnschwender turned onto Tiffin Avenue, his vehicle struck the bicyclist at an angle.
Gossard sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported for treatment.
Ehrnschwender was cited for operation at a stop sign.
Findlay Fire Department and Hanco EMS assisted at the scene.
