The Home Savings and Loan Company has partnered with Kenton Middle/High School to bring a new digital Wall of Fame to the school.
After meeting with KHS Director of Athletics Brett Purcell, who pitched the idea, HSLC President and CEO Chris Jones said the interactive display developed by Columbus-based Vital Signs sparked his interest.
The touchscreen Wall of Fame preserves the legacy of Kenton Wildcats by showcasing archived yearbooks dating back to 1916, athletic records, and achievements in the arts and student organizations. The display has already drawn interest from students and alumni alike.
However, several yearbooks are still missing, including editions from 1949, 1941–1939, much of the 1930s and 1920s, 1919, and 1915 and earlier.
Purcell is asking community members to lend those editions for digitization, assuring they will be returned in their original condition.
The Wall of Fame will continue to be updated and can also be viewed online at go.kcs.me/walloffame.
