A Kenton woman was arraigned Tuesday in Hardin County Common Pleas Court on two counts of domestic violence and eight counts of endangering children.

Kiera N. Browne was indicted on those charges earlier this month.

According to court documents, several of the endangering children counts allege that Browne tortured or cruelly abused a then 9-year-old child.

The offenses allegedly occurred July 10, 2025.

Browne pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Judge Steve Christopher set bond at $10,000 own recognizance.

A three-day jury trial is scheduled to begin June 23.

Also in court on Tuesday, a Lima man was sentenced on drug-related charges.

According to court documents, 32-year-old Brandon L. McMillen was indicted in July of 2025 on charges of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, corrupting another with drugs, involuntary manslaughter, possession of a fentanyl-related compound and tampering with evidence.

The involuntary manslaughter charge is in connection to the death of a woman in January of 2022.

Last month, McMillen pleaded guilty to an amended count of attempted corrupting another with drugs and tampering with evidence.

On Tuesday, Judge Christopher sentenced McMillen to a total of four years in prison.
