Kellogg Working to Resolve Dispute With Leggo My Eggroll

Kellogg North America Company and Leggo My Eggroll are engaged in discussions aimed at resolving the civil case in its entirety.

Lawyers for both parties notified the U.S. District Court in Toledo about the discussions in a filing late last week.

The Parties proposed that they will submit a joint status report within thirty days advising whether a resolution has been reached or whether summary judgment briefing should proceed.

Kellogg filed a lawsuit in late June of 2025 against the owners of the food truck, which operates locally and around the region.

The suit claims that the owners infringed on their copyrighted slogan “L’Eggo my Eggo,” which is used to promote the company’s Eggo frozen waffles.
