
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured following a crash Friday afternoon in Findlay.
According to a release, the crash occurred on March 20, 2026, at approximately 1:10 p.m. at the intersection of Broad Avenue and West Bigelow Avenue.
Authorities say Jager S. Burgei, 19, of Kalida, was operating a 2002 Aprilia motorcycle northbound on Broad Avenue as the roadway transitions into an incline curve toward West Bigelow Avenue.
Investigators report the driver failed to maintain control of the motorcycle, striking the northern curb and being ejected from the vehicle.
The operator sustained serious injuries and was initially transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital before being transferred to ProMedica, where he is listed in critical condition.
No citations have been issued at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.
The Findlay Fire Department and HANCO EMS assisted at the scene.
