As part of his agricultural education coursework, Hardin Northern student Hunter Ewing recently completed a meaningful Passion Project that brought learning to life for some of the school’s youngest students.
Ewing partnered with kindergarten students to explore the importance of trees and the connections between nature and human life.
Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, kindergarten students learned how trees grow, change, and adapt over time, much like people do throughout their lives.
The project culminated in a special planting event, where Ewing and the kindergarten classes worked together to plant a tree in front of the school.
As the kindergarteners continue their journey through school, they will be able to watch the tree grow alongside them, serving as a powerful representation of change, development, and the impact of hands-on learning.
