Tornado Warning in Effect for Portion of Allen and Putnam Counties (03/31/26)

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN PUTNAM AND NORTHEASTERN ALLEN COUNTIES...

At 805 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Columbus Grove, or 7 miles southwest of Bluffton,
moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Putnam and northeastern Allen Counties, including the
following locations... Vaughnsville, Rockport, Beaverdam, and Cairo.

This includes Interstate 75 between mile markers 132 and 141.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
