After so many people have reached out, the Hardin County Fair Board has set up a Hardin County Fair Tornado Relief Fund.
Board members stated that they didn’t plan on accepting donations, but after being overwhelmed with the generosity of the Hardin County community, they decided to offer a place where donations could be made for the relief effort.
The fairgrounds in Kenton sustained heavy damage from the tornado that struck during the evening of March 26.
With the goal of operating the 2026 fair September 8 through the 13, donations can be made on the Relief Fund site through May 30.
