Humane societies, dog shelters, and 501(c)(3) non-profit groups that spay and neuter dogs and cats around Ohio can apply for a grant from the Ohio Pet Fund.
Applications can be found on the OhioPetFund.org website, and the deadline to apply is April 30.
Most of the funds come from the sale of pet license plates.
When you choose Ohio pet license plates, you support spay and neuter programs and help save dogs and cats across Ohio.
The more plates that are sold, the more grant funds can be awarded.
