Hardin County Deputy Cody Winegardner Promoted to Sergeant
A promotion ceremony was held Monday at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Keith Everhart officiated the promotion of Deputy Cody Winegardner to the rank of Sergeant, with family, colleagues, and friends in attendance.
Sgt. Winegardner’s law enforcement career began in 2019 at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
In addition to his duties as an enforcement deputy, he has served on the Strategic Response Team, as a K-9 handler, and as a Field Training Officer.
In 2024, he was recognized as Deputy of the Year.
He will be responsible for supervising the 2nd shift.
