A Flock Safety Camera aided deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office this week in the apprehension of a Kentucky man.
According to a release, at approximately 2:00 p.m. on April 7, 2026, Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a stolen vehicle alert from a Flock Safety Camera in the area of State Route 95 and U.S. Route 23. The vehicle was reported to be a white 2024 Ford Bronco bearing a Pennsylvania license plate.
While canvasing the area, Deputies located the vehicle in question as it was parked, unoccupied, in the Meijer parking lot. As Deputies were patrolling the area, a male subject exited Meijer and began walking towards the stolen vehicle. Deputies intercepted the subject and identified him as Jacob Wayne Dulaney of Kentucky.
Throughout the course of the investigation, it was found that Dulaney had stolen the vehicle from an address in Parkersburg, West Virginia and he was also wanted by the Kentucky Parole Board on a charge of “Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.”
Jacob Wayne Dulaney now faces additional local charges for Receiving Stolen Property and Fugitive from Justice. Mr. Dulaney will also be facing numerous charges in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
