
The Kenton Wildcats varsity softball team struggled against the St. Marys Memorial Roughriders, falling 10-1 on Monday. Adyson Van De Keere picked up the win for St. Marys, giving up just three hits and an unearned run over five innings while striking out 11 and walking one. Alexis Ratliff took the loss for Kenton, pitching five innings and allowing 10 runs—five earned—on 10 hits, with three strikeouts and two walks. Brayla Butler went 1-for-3 and drove in Kenton’s lone run, while Ratliff led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Kenton will face Shawnee next on Tuesday.
