Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Flood Watch Issued for Parts of the Region

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for counties in our area.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT (04/15/2026) for Allen, Wyandot, Hancock, Marion Counties in our region.

A Flood Watch has also been issued through Thursday morning for Allen, Paulding, Putnam, and Van Wert Counties.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Ohio, including the following areas, Allen OH,
Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
