Kenton Boys Tennis Sweeps Defiance
The Kenton Boys Tennis team hit the road to Defiance on Tuesday night for a WBL match and came away with a dominant 5-0 win over the Bulldogs. In 1st Singles, Garraden Wirbel beat Noah Hohenbrink 6-1, 6-2, while Seth Spencer took down Diego Rivera 6-2, 6-0 at 2nd Singles. At 3rd Singles, Leighton Wirbel edged out Levi Gerencser 6-4, 7-5. In 1st Doubles, Wyatt Campbell and Cale Harshfield rallied to defeat Kellan Harsha and Will Wittenmyer 4-6, 7-5, 6-4. Meanwhile, Ethan McNamara and Jack Whitmer grabbed a 7-6 (7-1), 6-2 win over Kameron Lime and Finn Tingle in 2nd Doubles. The Wildcats now stand at 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the WBL.
