Forest Man Arrested After Investigation In Wyandot County

A 21-year-old rural Forest man was arrested after a search warrant was served by the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit on Thursday.

According to a release from Wyandot County Sheriff Todd Frey, the warrant was served at 16409 County Highway 86 following a tip received from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The investigation involves the alleged possession and dissemination of child pornography.

Authorities arrested Clayton D. Hare, and he is being held in the Wyandot County Jail pending formal charges for pandering obscenity involving a minor.

The investigation remains active, and additional charges related to child pornography may be filed following review by Prosecutor Eric Figlewicz.

Sheriff Frey encourages members of the public to report any suspicious activity.
