Kenton Boys Tennis Sets School Record

The Kenton Boys Tennis team celebrated Senior Night on Friday by hosting Wapakoneta and earning a school-record sixth WBL win with a 4-1 victory. At 1st Singles, Garraden Wirbel beat Brayden Hooker 6-3, 6-2, while at 2nd Singles, Seth Spencer topped Ian Bachar 6-0, 6-2. In 3rd Singles, Richard Huang fell to Reese Schadl 1-6, 0-6. The 1st Doubles team of Wyatt Campbell and Cale Harsfield defeated Thomas Finkelmeier and Tyler Roberts 6-2, 6-1, and at 2nd Doubles, Jack Whitmer and Ethan McNamara outlasted Keaton Walker and Brayden Dickman 6-2, 4-6, 7-5. Kenton now stands at 7-5 overall and 6-3 in the WBL, and heads to Fostoria today (5/4).
