Kenton Middle School will again be hosting its Choose Hope Event on May 19.

This is to honor those who have fought, are fighting or have won the battle against different types of cancers.

All proceeds will go directly to Not By Choice Outreach of Hardin County.

Not By Choice Outreach is a free service offering gas cards, head coverings, and more to those suffering from cancer related treatments.

Students will participate in activities throughout the day to help work on awareness about cancer and how it affects all of us.

Below is the list of different levels students can participate in:

Level 1: Free activities around the school including walking in the fieldhouse, chalk time, gold rush, four-square and watching a movie.

Level 2 ($10): Carrying my cell phone and using it throughout the day’s events and playing knockout.

Level 3 ($15): Large motor activities including gaga ball, volleyball, soccer nine square, and corn hole.

Level 4 TOTAL WILDCAT ($20): ALL activities and cell phone usage included.

This event is being put on by the KMS National Junior Honor Society, and they are hoping to surpass their goal of $2500 to donate to Not By Choice.
