Ohio Northern University will host its second annual “Drone Day” tomorrow.
Industry and government experts will share their insights Thursday morning, and field demonstrations of high-powered drones will take place after lunch from 1:15 until 2:45pm.
The demonstrations will be in the open fields next to Dial-Roberson Football Stadium, but in case of bad weather, demonstrations will be held in the King-Horn Field House.
More than 150 ONU Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Statistics, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and Environmental Biology students will participate in the action-packed educational day.
The students will be learning about the ways that drones are rapidly changing their future professions, helping organizations save time, cut costs, and reduce risks.
