Reports on two of three crashes that occurred this past Friday have been completed and released by the Kenton Police Department.

The first crash occurred at around 11:20 Friday morning in the 100 block of North Detroit Street.

According to the report, Jessica Fox, of Kenton, drove from an alley onto Detroit, and her vehicle struck a northbound car being operated by Kathleen Rettig, of rural Kenton.

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles, but there were no injuries.

Fox was cited for a right of way violation.

The next crash occurred at around 2:30 Friday afternoon at the four-way stop intersection of North Leighton and West Columbus Streets.

According to that report, Carrie Harber, of Kenton, was driving through the intersection while traveling south on Leighton, and Kala Howe, also of Kenton, was proceeding through the intersection while drivng east on Columbus.

The resulting crash caused disabling damage to Harbor’s vehicle and functional damage to Howe’s.

Howe was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police officers could not determine who was at fault, because both drivers gave conflicting stories, and there were no witnesses.

The final crash on Friday happened at around 6:10pm at the intersection of South Detroit and West Espy Streets.

The report has not yet been released, but according to information on the Kenton Police Department’s Daily Log Sheet, Javonte Henderson, of Marysville, was cited for failure to yield.
