Tomorrow is the day that the village park in Alger will be dedicated and officially renamed the Ray Brown Memorial Park.

The Dedication Ceremony is at 2:00 Thursday afternoon, and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is expected to attend.

Numerous activities, including food trucks, are scheduled from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Thursday.

Hardin County Historical Museums has 200 baseballs that have been specially designed for the event.

The baseballs will be given away throughout the day.

The Museum, in partnership with Quest Federal Credit Union, will also be selling once in a lifetime shirts tomorrow.

There are two different styles to choose from, both in a striking blue and tasteful ode to the late Ray Brown.

Jerseys are $20 and t-shirts are $15.

Sizes range from Small to XXL.
