The Village of Ada was recognized as a Tree city USA Wednesday in the Northwest Ohio awards ceremony hosted by the City of Maumee and the Maumee Environmental and Tree Advisory Commission.

This is the 45th time the village has been honored with the nationally recognized award.

The title of Tree City USA was presented to Ada for its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve quality of life through a comprehensive tree management program.

The program is guided by the Tree Commission and the municipal government.
