Officials at the Kenton Eagles Aerie #2163 announced late last week that the club’s charter has been revoked.

The final day of operations for Kenton Eagles Aerie 2163 will be June 30, but officials said there is also a chance the closing date may be sooner than anticipated.

President Jeremy Shelt made that announcement to members Thursday evening.

He stated that this outcome came after those in power determined that the financial disaster they inherited runs too deep to overcome, despite every effort made over the last several months.

He also stated that the investigation that is being conducted by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department will continue.  Shelt also thanked employees, board members, and members for supporting the Eagles throughout everything.

For questions about memberships or transfers, members are being asked to email the secretary at kentonfoe2163@gmail.com.
