Four adult individuals have been charged in connection with a series of vandalism incidents that occurred in the Village of Waynesfield in October of 2025.
According to a release from the Waynesfield Police Department, 27-year-old Keisha Richardson, 20-year-old Tessa Cox, both formerly of Waynesfield, and 20-year-old Caden Gibbs of Belle Center, and 26-year-old Timothy Jenkins, of Huntsville have been charged with criminal damaging.
During the incidents, more than 15 properties throughout the village were defaced with vulgar graffiti.
“This investigation required a substantial amount of time due to the number of properties affected and the volume of evidence that needed to be collected,” said Waynesfield Police Chief Nathan Motter. “We are confident the individuals responsible have been identified and will be held accountable for their actions. This type of behavior will not be tolerated in our community.”
While much of the most offensive graffiti has been removed, several properties throughout the village—including sidewalks and buildings—still show signs of damage.
“As a village, we are working hard to improve our community and foster a sense of pride and ownership,” Chief Motter added. “Property maintenance has been a priority for Village Council, but incidents like this hinder that progress. Waynesfield may not be the most financially affluent community, but we can take pride in what we have and work together to maintain it.”
Court dates for the individuals charged have not yet been scheduled.
