Facility remains on schedule as Sheetz ramps up hiring for nearly 200 positions, including a CDL-A driver hiring event next Tuesday

ALTOONA, PA — Yesterday Sheetz, a leader in restaurant-quality food and unmatched convenience, announced continued progress on its $169 million distribution facility in Findlay, Ohio. The project remains on schedule for an official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony in fall 2026, with a specific date to be announced later this summer.

When opened, this state-of-the-art building will directly support Sheetz’s expanding Midwest presence, marking another significant milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy in the region. In April, Sheetz announced it will open its first stores in Indiana in the greater Indianapolis area next year.

In addition to Indiana, Sheetz operates more than 130 stores in Ohio and continues to expand rapidly in Northwest Ohio, where it now has 10 locations.

Immediate Hiring

Sheetz is currently hiring for nearly 200 positions, including roles focused on food production, preparation, packaging and handling at the distribution center.

Interested applicants can apply at jobs.sheetz.com.

Sheetz is also hiring CDL-A drivers and will host a hiring event for prospective drivers on Tuesday, June 2 from 9am-5pm EST.

The hiring event will take place at Sheetz’s distribution center, located at 5900 Township Road 230, Findlay, OH 45840.

Prospective candidates interested in attending the hiring event are required to apply in advance for a CDL-A position at jobs.sheetz.com prior to arrival.

Only applicants who have completed an application beforehand will be considered at the event.

Named to the 100 Best Companies to Work For® list by Great Place To Work and Fortune for the 11th consecutive year earlier this year, Sheetz will offer employees at its distribution center competitive pay, access to an on-site Shwellness Center and an industry-leading benefits package, including medical, vision and dental insurance, 12 week fully paid maternity leave, two weeks of paid paternity leave, a 401(k) retirement plan, college tuition reimbursement, an employee stock ownership plan, adoption assistance, flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement, quarterly bonuses, vacation time and more. CDL-A drivers at Sheetz’s distribution center will be home daily and work three-day schedules each week.

Sheetz currently operates 830+ stores across its seven-state footprint, which currently includes Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Michigan. All locations are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
