Several members of the Rescue Grove Chapel committee met earlier this week with Dani Cohen and Carrie Simmons from the State of Ohio Historic Preservation Office.
According to information in the Rescue Grove Chapel Facebook group, committee members present were Jennifer Whitaker Ramge, William Bill Keller, Michael Kasler, Ronald Marvin Jr., and Ron Rogers.
Ramge has been directing the paperwork and contacts to make sure Grove Cemetery and Grove Chapel are approved to be part of the National Registry which would open an unlimited amount of opportunities for the community.
Work for the Chapel is an on-going process, and donations are still being accepted for the next steps to continue the Rescue of Grove Chapel for future generations.
Donation information can be found by visiting grovecemeterychapel.org/donate.
