Single-Vehicle Crash in Hancock County Claims Life of Kenton Man

A Kenton man died Friday evening following a single-vehicle crash in Hancock County.

According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 5:55 p.m. on May 29 to a crash on State Route 613 near Township Road 231 in Allen Township.

Investigators said a 2002 International truck driven by 36-year-old Michael Davis of Kenton was traveling westbound on SR 613 when the vehicle traveled into the eastbound lanes before veering off the right side of the roadway. The truck then overturned and came to rest off the road.

Davis was pronounced deceased as a result of the crash.

Assisting at the scene were the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Allen Township Fire Department, Hanco EMS and Dick’s Towing.

The crash remains under investigation by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
