Hardin Northern Public Library to Host Free Showing of Hamilton

The Hardin Northern Public Library will host a free public showing of the Broadway musical Hamilton on Sunday, June 28, beginning at 2 p.m.

The award-winning musical tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton through a blend of hip-hop, R&B and traditional musical theater styles. Hamilton has earned numerous accolades, including 11 Tony Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

The presentation is being offered as part of the nation’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

The musical runs approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes and will include an intermission. Closed captions will also be available during the showing.

Seating will be provided, although guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs. The library will also provide snacks and bottled water.

The event is free and open to the public.

The library is located at 153 N. Main Street in Dunkirk.
