Jennifer Ramge talked to the group about the revitalizations of the downtown area.  She began with a wonderful thank you to the group with what the Kenton Lions have done with the parades, Pioneer Park, and several other projects.  She talked about the possibility of talking with and future talks with several investors whether it is: Grocery, Residential, Commercial, and/or Industrial.  Finally, Jennifer mentioned about having at least 7 “D5L” type licenses available to help bring restaurants and/or bar type foods to the area.

Immediate Past President Lion Jason Van Buskirk announced to the club that we received the letter and official sticker for our plaque from the Kenton Chamber of Commerce. Lion Daryl Flowers presented to the club slide show pictures and thoughts about possibly moving the pavilion from the old Hardin County Home to a possible spot on the Pioneer Park.  A committee of Lions will be put together to investigate if it can be done, how if the pavilion could be moved, and where it might be able to be placed.  Lions voted to accept both the Treasurer and Secretary’s reports that were submitted.

Lion Terry Burbacher talked to the club about having everything needed for the June 6th Health Day at the Kroger parking lot, she’ll just need help with the machines that were donated and pop-up tent.

Lion Gary Whitmer passed around the sign-up sheet for help needed on the Father’s Day baseball tournament coming up on both June 20th & 21st

PDG Lion Bill Keller let the club know about former club member Justin Dick having interest in re-joining the club, the club welcomed him back.

The 50/50 was won by Lion Bob White and he donated it back to the club.
