
Riverdale concluded a successful track & field season at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Championships.
Grant Inbody finished 11th in the discus with a throw of 157-02. Kolten Evans took 9th in the 1600m, running a time of 4:20.83 to set a new school record. Evans also participated in the 4×800 relay with Cale Young, Cody Flowers-Barger, and Gabe Donaldson (pictured above). The team took a 10th-place finish with a personal best time of 8:11.52.

On the women’s side, the Falcons took 7th in the 4×400 relay (Paige Vent 57.41, Emma Kemmere 1:06.70, Tamijah Altvater 1:01.68, Marissa Bonham 57.76). As a solo competitor, Bonham also took 6th in the 400-meter, 12th in high jump, and was a state qualifier in the 200-meter, where she ran a 26.59 in her heat. The 4×800 relay team of Paige Vent, Annalese Woodruff, Summer Boutwell, and Grace Driskill took 17th with a time of 10:14.77.
