Hardin Freedom Fest organizers are inviting the community to take part in a special Bell Ringing Ceremony at noon on Independence Day as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.
The event will be held July 4 at the Hardin County Courthouse, with activities scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Organizers encourage residents to gather and celebrate the historic milestone with a symbolic ringing of bells at noon.
Hardin Freedom Fest recently thanked St. John’s Evangelical Church and Randy Rogers for providing bell chimes to help with the event. Free bells will also be available while supplies last.
In addition to the bell ringing, organizers said attendees will have the opportunity to sing, learn, pray and enjoy time together as a community.
The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
