The trial for a Lima woman who is facing charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, strangulation, and felonious assault has been changed.

64-year-old Donna Jo Miller will now stand trial beginning December 7, and it is scheduled for five days.

Her trial was scheduled to start July 13, but her attorney filed a continuance, which was granted this week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Miller was arrested in April on the charges connected to the death of Paula Dirmeyer in November of 2025, following an investigation conducted by the Ada Police Department.
